FILM SYNOPSIS

Directors Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne take on the touchy and hot-button issue of radicalisation with sensitivity so rare that it has been applauded by critics. Young Ahmed - aged barely 13 - is caught between his imam’s ideals of purity and life’s temptations. At odds with his loved ones and despite the protestations of his single mother, the Belgian teenager hatches a plot to kill his beloved teacher. Essaying the role of Ahmed, Idir Ben Addi makes his impactful screen debut.
