Drawing on real-life stories of start-ups, this semi-satirical narrative tells the story of a female founder from rural Estonia trying to make it big in male-dominated Silicon Valley. Chasing Unicorns follows a young start-up entrepreneur Õie who stumbles into her country’s dynamic start-up scene quite by accident. At a hackathon she meets serial failure Tõnu who has gone bankrupt with each one of his companies. Inspired by dreams, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, the duo embark on a hilarious journey driven by the intent to take on the tech world.
