A young soldier sides with a group of travelling actors when an angry fist fight erupts. After he is forced to flee, the eclectic troupe takes him in and together, they move from village to village in a shaky cart. On the surface it seems like a lucky escape, but little does he know what awaits him. A hanging, a seduction, a duel and love – maybe on and off stage.
